Cecily's deep, moody blues and cranberries are tempered with dusty mauve and warm golden strokes. A splash of white, which fades to pink, adds an unexpected lightheartedness to this piece. The faintly powder blue canvas is an innocent contrast to the rest of the hues in the palette.
